Peachtree TV's free Screen on the Green begins Thursday at Centennial Olympic Park with Steven Spielberg's Oscar-winning "Jaws."

The event is scheduled from 6 to 11 p.m. The screening begins at sunset.

Moviegoers are advised to bring a picnic or purchase food from local vendors. Alcoholic beverages can't be brought into the park but will be available for purchase on-site.

No high-back chairs, glass, pets or grills are allowed.

UNDER THE STARS

Star 94's annual free Movies Under the Stars is underway with free outdoor screenings in various parts of metro Atlanta. Movies begin at sundown (around 8:30 p.m.).

Next Up: "Shrek the Third" on Saturday at Roswell's Riverside Park.

Among future films: "Alvin & the Chipmunks" on May 31 at the Horse Park in Conyers; "Horton Hears A Who!" on June 7 at Douglasville's Boundary Waters Park; "Bee Movie" on June 28 at Fayetteville's McCurry Park; "Nim's Island" on July 26 at Powder Springs' Taylor Farm Park; and "Horton Hears a Who!" on Aug. 2 at Kennesaw's Swift-Cantrell Park.

Films will be named later for July 12 at Suwanee Town Center Park, for July 19 at Duluth's Town Green, for Aug. 23 at Snellville's Briscoe Park, for Sept. 13 at Oglethorpe University's Campus Center and for Sept. 20 at McDonough's Henry County Sports Complex.
