The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: D
"...the kind of a movie whose idea of a joke is to repeat the phrase 'blunt testicular trauma' as many times as possible. "
Austin American-Statesman: 2 of 5 stars
"... doesn't have the stink of disaster one might expect. It just isn't very interesting."
The Palm Beach Post: D+
"It is the stuff of sure-fire farce, but (screenwriter T.M.) Griffin wants to make some serious statement about love and marriage instead, and director Rob Reiner provides him with a perplexingly dour tone."
