RETURN OF THE DAMES

"Showbiz What Sizzles," the monthly stage show from burlesque troupe Dames Aflame, is about to celebrate its two-year anniversary at the Laughing Skull Lounge at the Vortex Bar & Grill in Midtown. That's a whole lotta pasty twirling. And leggy personas like Luna Luxx and Madly Deeply continue their part-comedic, part-artsy and totally sexy take on contemporary tease. Add the foghorn-strong vocals of Kingsized's Mike Geier and MC duties courtesy of Knuckles, and it's a night on the town like no other. Each month features new Dames material along with a few greatest hits. The show returns the third Friday of each month. Guests must be 18 and older.
