Drink and draw a live model at anti-art school

Published on: 05/15/2008

The Eastside Lounge in East Atlanta plays host to Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School. This monthly figure drawing event combines libations and curvy females. Each month, a different model, many from the Atlanta burlesque scene, poses for the crowd. Each guest is welcome to bring art supplies and draw images of the model in question. When sketchers aren't sketching, an assortment of games, drawing contests and prizes help fill the remainder of this three-hour event. Even an impromptu round of Twister may happen between breaks.

•THE 411: $15. 8 p.m. May 19. Eastside Lounge, 485-A Flat Shoals Ave., Atlanta. 404-521-9666.
