The Middle Georgia blueswoman fleshes out her sound on her sophomore CD, adding a pleasantly thumping rhythm section, but up front it's still the same old Precious — alternately sweet ("Good Night") and saucy ("My Chauffeur"). Blues nuts will recognize some of the material here, including "If I Could Hear My Mother Pray" and the album-opening "Morning Train." But the kicker is "Dark Angel," a Precious original that pays homage to Jessica Alba's character in the titular television show. "I love Dark Angel, that is right," Precious sings. "I love Dark Angel because she knows how to fight."
