The influx of jazz joints on the Northside continues.
The newest is Se'Vauge, a sleek, upscale spot in Roswell that spotlights straight-ahead jazz and Cajun cuisine. With the stage at the center of the dining room, the restaurant is decorated with black and silver finishes and splashes of leopard and Tuscan yellow.

Suddenly, it now seems there are more jazz places to choose from.
"I think we're all different in what we do," says Se'Vauge co-owner Tré Brown. "Londzell's [Jazz and Blues Cafe] is more like 'Cheers.' Pisces [Seafood and Jazz] is nice and upscale, but they are a little more R&B."
This isn't co-owner Brown's first restaurant venture. She operated a jazz cafe, also called Se'Vauge, in Houston a few years ago. Brown says the downtown cafe closed after it outgrew its small space so she set her sights on a location closer to hometown Atlanta.
Since its opening earlier this month, Atlanta pianist Ojeda Penn has become a regular feature. (Penn is the ex-father-in-law of Brown.)
This time as business grows, Brown and a silent partner plan to expand by the end of summer and bring in national artists, she said.
