Kimberly Ann Gittings wins Miss Georgia USA

CARTERSVILLE — Kimberly Ann Gittings of Lilburn has won the 2009 Miss Georgia USA title.
The 20-year-old Gittings accepted her crown from Amanda Kozak, the reigning Miss Georgia USA, during the pageant Saturday night at the Woodland Performing Arts Center in Cartersville.

The first runner-up was Miss Pike County USA, Chelsea Thompson. Second runner-up was Miss Savannah USA, Cassady Lance.
Brooke Fletcher, a 16-year-old from Fayetteville, was crowned earlier Saturday as the winner of the Miss Georgia Teen USA contest. First runner-up in the teen event was Brina Potvin of Alpharetta.
Winners of the Miss Georgia USA and Miss Georgia Teen USA titles will represent Georgia in the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants.
