Rock singer Chris DeMarco, former frontman for Riff Raff, has an impressive roster on his first solo album.

The first single from the rock singer's first solo CD, "Lost and Found;" the first release from DeMarco's self-distributed label, Dreamco Music.

• The directors: Safaa Sammander and Kevin L. Powers of Atlanta's CenterSeat Entertainment.

• The sites: Several locations throughout the city include Midtown restaurant Trois and the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center. The video actually isn't done yet as Sammander and Powers still plan to film at Theatre in the Square in addition to pickup shots at a Ponce de Leon apartment.

• The concept: "Generally speaking," Powers explains, "Chris' character is a man who sees this woman on several different occasions but can't approach her. And while Chris' character is falling in love with that woman, another woman is spotting him in all of these places, and she's falling in love with him."

• The interesting thing that probably won't make the video: The background of the principals involved. First there's DeMarco, who came up in the classic rock days when MTV was all long, frizzy hair and parachute pants. (Yes, he was a frontman for Riff Raff.) But in 1994 he and his wife moved here from New York, where he says he was doing jingles and movie scores. He got a real estate license and made enough money to finance his return to music.

Sammander and Powers, meanwhile, met in film school, and this is their first music video.

• The artist says: "The idea behind this whole 'Lost and Found' project is, you know, if you're fortunate enough to live long enough, you will lose and find many things — love and friends among them."

Little surprise then that some of his friends from his earlier music days can be found on DeMarco's first solo album, including Jim Fielder of Blood, Sweat and Tears on bass and Tommy Talton of the Gregg Allman Band, Dick Wagner of the Alice Cooper Band and Barry Richman of Lynyrd Skynyrd on guitars.

Plus that piano player on "Sail Away" is none other than Billy Joel, a friend of DeMarco's co-producer.
