Former Atlanta Falcons running back Jamal Anderson has lost his Atlanta mansion to foreclosure and it has been sold at auction, according TMZ.com.

TMZ said Anderson defaulted on his mortgage and the unnamed bank recently sold the home for $1 million, which is $225,000 less than what Anderson paid for it in 1999, the entertainment site said.

The show MTV Cribs featured Anderson’s mansion in 2007. The show said it had 10 bedrooms, 12 baths and a movie theater within its 14,000 square feet of space. Anderson introduced the home as “Taj Jamal.” The home was immaculately furnished, down to the bathroom tiles Anderson said were imported from Spain. The home also features a pool and basketball court. “I had all of these things already laid out when I bought this house, and I just did a couple of little things to clean it up and make it look a little bit better,” Anderson told the MTV Cribs audience.

The former Pro Bowler helped lead the Falcons to their first and only Super Bowl in 1999 before suffering a career-ending knee injury in 2001. He has had several run-ins with the law since retirement. In February 2009, Anderson was charged with cocaine and marijuana possession after an off-duty officer said he saw the athlete using drugs at a Buckhead bar. The charges, however, were later dismissed, according to his attorney, Jerry Froelich.

Last June, DeKalb County police arrested the former RB on a charge of drunken driving. In December, Anderson pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of reckless driving and sentenced to 12 months of probation and ordered to pay a $700 fine.
