Bacon-scented shaving cream makes unusual Christmas gift

By Steve Berg

Tulsa, Okla. —

If you're trying to find a Christmas gift for the person who has everything, here's an idea, although they may not actually WANT it.

Bacon-scented shaving cream.

Self-described "bacon-trepeneur" Dave Lefkow is the guy who came up with it.

He was testing it on some subjects on the "Seattle Insider" TV show on KRMG's sister-station KIRO-TV in Seattle.

"I feel like I'm in a skillet," said one test subject.

Lefkow says bacon shaving cream is actually not a new idea, dating back hundreds, if not thousands, of years.

"People have been shaving with bacon grease for centuries," he said.  "I'm talking about going back to Vikings."

One though has to wonder if the Vikings did it because they liked it or because they had no choice.

Nevertheless, the test subjects proclaimed they liked it when they were done.

"I feel invincible, I feel powerful, I feel like I could take on the world," one man said.
