This is a poke bowl, a dish popping up all over metro Atlanta, made with salmon. There’s a new spot in Town Center at Cobb serving up the Hawaiian bowls of raw fish.

Town Center at Cobb has new ways to make that New Year’s goal of losing weight even tougher.

The mall, 400 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw, announced Tuesday a ton of new permanent and seasonal pop-up stores and restaurants.

Queso Fresh Mex Grill, which serves Tex-Mex cuisine, and The Burger Barn (guess what they serve?) will open in the food court sometime in December, the mall said. Queso Fresh will be located next to Asian Chao and Burger Barn will be next to Sbarro.

Frozen Yazz is slated to start slinging frozen yogurt and fruit by the middle of November, near Sears.

CupPoki recently opened next to Pandora on the upper level. The restaurant serves bowls of raw fish known as poke. The dish has become wildly trendy in landlocked Atlanta and beyond.

The mall also announced some holiday pop-up vendors this season:

Merry DooDads recently opened 3,100 square feet of holiday decor and gifts by brooklynn’s near Macy’s. “Go! Calendars is open by Sears.

These stores are set to open by the middle of November: See’s Candies outside of Fashion to Figure near Macy’s; Polar X, an ornament store, near Sears; and Hickory Farms, with sausage and cheese and such, will open by JCPenney.

For crafters, Wood Art USA is expected to open near Macy’s by Thanksgiving.

And from Dec. 8 to 24, you can have your gifts wrapped for you at the Oakwood Gift Wrap kiosk near Macy’s.
