October is typically seen as a month for beer drinking. It seems like everyone has their own version of Oktoberfest.
But in Roswell, the first day of the month is reserved for vino.
Tickets for the fifth annual Roswell Wine Festival are on sale now. It’s still about two months away, but each year tickets have sold out in advance of the boozy event.
The event will be held on Canton Street in historic Roswell from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1. More than 40 wineries, retailers, restaurants and vendors will be on hand.
A special hour and a half long wine seminar, hosted by Vin 25, is already sold out.
Wine drinkers can purchase tickets online at FreshTix.com. Admission is reserved for folks 21 years and older, and prices range from $40 to $85. Ticket holders receive a commemorative glass and complimentary wine tastings.
