Sandy Springs

Situated along Vickery Creek, the park also includes a 30-foot dam and millrace, which were constructed in the early 1800s to supply power to Roswell's mills. Big Creek Greenway | Open sunup to sundown
Various entry points in Alpharetta and Roswell, following a path that runs parallel to North Point Parkway.
Starting at the south end of North Point Parkway at the Alpharetta/Roswell border, Big Creek Greenway runs north eight miles to Marconi Drive off Windward Parkway. The 12-foot-wide paved trail is mostly flat and shaded with space for children and adults to bike, jog and walk. Parking is available at several points throughout the trail. Between Haynes Bridge Road and Mansell Road, a soft mulch trail encircles a wetland awaiting exploration. More details here
