Lake Allatoona -- Has 270 miles of shoreline and 12,000 acre of water. The area is rich in history and is only 40 miles north of Atlanta in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. More information

Lake Burton -- Has 62 miles of shoreline on 2,775 acres. The lake is formed by Burton Dam on Tallulah River, and it is the largest of 14 lakes that made is from Georgia Power dams. Boat ramps can be found at Murray Cove, Tallulah River Boat Ramp and Moccasin Creek State Park. More information
Carters Lake -- Has 60 miles of shoreline and 3,220-acres of water and is the deepest in Georgia, which is backed up by 445-foot-high dam. It's located in the Blue Ridge Mountains off of GA Hwy 282/76 that is eight miles west of Elligay. Boat ramps are found at Damsite, Doll Mountain, Woodring Branch and Ridgeway. More information
