MARTINIS WITH A VIEW
The drink mixers at Murphy's (997 Virginia Ave. N.E., Virginia-Highland) are adding the swank of a martini to the frivolity of a Jell-O shot. Its Crazy Leprechaun blends gin with pineapple and apple liqueurs. Gin-filled Jell-O cubes are plopped in at the finish. This specialty cocktail joins live Irish dancers tonight for Murphy's St. Patty's bash.
GO IRISH
With a name like the Irish Bred Pub (74 Upper Alabama St. S.W., downtown), there has to be a certain responsibility on St. Patrick's Day. Well, this
Underground Atlanta bar delivers with several themed drinks, including the Belfast Car Bomb. Pour 6 ounces of Guinness beer into a pint glass, and follow with 1 1/2 ounces each of Bailey's Irish Cream and Tullamore Dew.
EASY BEING GREEN
The chemists behind Irish Mist liqueur submit a holiday-infused cocktail for your approval. The Green Mist takes the gold-colored booze and a dash of blue curacao. For some sparkle, it's topped off with 7-Up or Sprite.
