NOT OUT OF PEACH

If all an out-of-town visitor knows about Atlanta is OutKast and the Braves, here's a festive intro into the joy of peaches, the state's banner fruit. Beefeater Gin suggests the Wet Peach Martini. Beefeater Wet gin is mixed with simple syrup, peach purée, peach liqueur and lemon juice; the ingredients are blended in a shaker. Shaking it "like a Polaroid picture" is optional.

Speaking of Atlanta rappers, the rotund Bone Crusher might want to check out www.drinksmixer.com. Here, the rhymer can get the recipe for his cocktail namesake. IN THE DRINK

WET PEACH MARTINI
1 1/2 oz. wet gin
1/2 oz. simple syrup
1 oz. peach purée
1/4 oz. peach liqueur
1/2 oz. lemon juice
Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into pre-chilled martini glass.
