Get in touch with your inner zombie at Flanigan's (4092 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker). Bar manager Danny Shearer crafts his version of the visually striking Bloody Brain. He layers peach schnapps, Baileys Irish Cream and a drizzle of grenadine in a shot glass. The grenadine somehow pulls the Baileys down, giving the illusion of a pinkish brainlike mass floating at the bottom of the glass. We didn't have the guts to shoot it, but our companion did. His first word after guzzling the sweet and creamy shot: "Lumpy."

CHINESE TIKI

The minute the Tiki Tumbler arrived at our table at Pyng Ho Chinese restaurant (1357 Clairmont Road, Decatur), we asked our server if we could keep the glass. Sadly, the Moai-like tiki head stayed there. However, we savored the mixture of rum, orange curaçao and lemon juice as long as we could. It left us counting down the days until summer.

NEW AT THE GLOBE

Three new drinks premiere on the cocktail menu at the Globe (75 Fifth St. N.W.). The Kasia Laska features apple juice, bitters and a blast of Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka. Its latest mojito, the MoMo Special, includes mint vodka, lemon juice, fresh mint and soda. Take a virtual trip to Japan with the PlumSho. Japanese plum liqueur (umeshu) and the vodkalike shochu join white cranberry juice. Domo arigato, indeed.
