COCKTAIL CLASSICS
It's all about the classics at Restaurant Eugene (277 Peachtree Road, Atlanta). Every Friday starting June 9, Executive Chef Linton Hopkins and company re-create old-school drinks for Classic Cocktails Eugene. The restaurant puts a fresh spin on recipes from "How to Mix Drinks or the Bon-Vivant's Companion," which some refer to as the bartender's bible. They're taking it seriously by making their own tonic water, soda and bitters. Fork over $25 and experience three different cocktails and food pairings. The first batch includes the gin and vermouth-laced Undeniable Truth, the vodka-tinged Gloria's Gimlet and the Italy-meets-Old-West appeal of the Sergio Leone.

SPICY COMMUNION
The churches in Midtown aren't the only ones breaking bread and drinking wine on Sunday. Spice (793 Juniper St., Atlanta) offers Sunday Evening Communion with select wines at $5 per glass. And instead of wafers, Chef Drew Van Leuvan offers a two-course meal and a bottle of wine for $25. Spice opens for dinner at 5 p.m.
PITCHER THIS
Looking for drinks at a discount? Prices on margaritas, sangria and pitchers of beer are getting slashed at Sabroso Tapas Lounge (351 Moreland Ave. N.E., Atlanta). Each day throughout June, this Little Five Points eatery will take $2 off the regular price.
