SPIRITS
For skating fans: Ice PalacePublished on: 03/09/2006
ICE, ICE BABY
Don't feel left out in the cold now that the Winter Olympics are over. Tickets are now on sale for the 2006 John Hancock Champions on Ice tour, which stops at Philips Arena on May 20. Skating fans can get their fix watching folks like Sasha Cohen and Johnny Weir slice some ice. In the meantime, warm up with the Ice Palace from www.drinksmixer.com. Rum, Galliano liqueur and apricot brandy join a bevy of fruit juices. Gold-medal worthy? You decide.

| Yeah, Sasha Cohen took a spill in Italy, but she still won silver. Let's hope skating fans don't spill their Ice Palace. | |||
ST. PATTY'S HANGOVER HELPER
After sucking down suds on St. Patrick's Day weekend, Meehan's Public House locations (Alpharetta, Vinings, Brookhaven and Sandy Springs) have a hangover helper. On March 19, the restaurants pour the Bloody Bull. For $6 each, hazy leprechauns can recharge with this combination of vodka, tomato juice and beef bouillon.
GETTING READY FOR SUMMER
On March 1, the Atlanta Brewing Company ceremoniously tapped its first keg of Red Brick Summer Brew for an invitation-only audience. Local band the Blacktop Rockets played their brand of rockabilly as guests tipped back beer. The Atlanta Brewing Company uses traditional Hefeweizen yeast and an unfiltered brewing process to capture the Hefeweizen style of German beer. Check local bars for availability.
