PRICKLY BRICK
The bar at the new BrickTop's (3280 Peachtree St., Atlanta) boasts a boutique wine list and fresh-squeezed juice mixers. But that's not all. The glowing pink Prickly Pear Margarita stands as its signature cocktail. The key ingredient is the high-octane cactus fruit. The staff peels the fruit and soaks it in tequila for three days.
DAIQUIRI BY THE BOOK
Legendary American author Ernest Hemingway was just as legendary a boozer. He's inspired countless cocktails, including one on the menu at Ruth's Chris Steak House (locations including 5788 Roswell Road, N.W., Atlanta). The Hemingway Daiquiri comes together with Appleton white rum, fresh lime juice, sugar and a splash of pink grapefruit juice.
