September marks Hispanic Heritage month, and Fiesta Georgia kicks things off with an all-day outdoor appreciation of Latino food, music and culture.
Duluth Festival Center plays host to the event, which brings with it a Mexican market feel. It’s brought to life by the Lanza Group, the same producers behind May’s Fiesta Atlanta event.

Festival-goers at Fiesta Georgia may note similarities to May’s Fiesta Atlanta: They’re put on by the same group.

Festival-goers can get a taste of Mexican and Central American cuisines from vendors, and there will be family-friendly fair activities such as face painting. But perhaps the biggest draw remains the music.
Popular acts like norteño bands Beto y Sus Canarios and Los Forasteros de San Luis are set to perform, but the big name on the bill is Grupo Montéz de Durango, which specializes in the Durango Step, a style of music that melds quebradita and merengue.
