Area eateries gear up to treat moms
The economy might be putting the squeeze on, but she's your mom. Sunday is her day and chefs across the metro area are gearing up for diners who will arrive with entire families to celebrate the main lady in their lives. Need some suggestions? Here are just a few — with the usual holiday reminder: Make a reservation!

• Dine overlooking the rose gardens at Villa Christina (4000 Summit Blvd., Dunwoody, 404-303-0133, www.villachristina.com). From 11:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. guests can savor a lavish buffet of seafood, prime rib, pasta salads, traditional breakfast favorites and desserts. And here's the best part: The staff of the restaurant will entertain the tykes while mom has a second mimosa. Games, arts and crafts and a moonwalk will keep them busy. $45 for adults; $25 for children 6 to 12; free for those younger than 5.
