• Mix shopping with food on Saturday at the Avenue West Cobb. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the retail complex at 3625 Dallas Highway hosts the Taste of West Cobb, featuring bites from 25 local restaurants such as Aspens Signature Steaks, Melting Pot, Macaroni Grill, Longhorn, Taco Mac and Maggiano's. • Wine-related events are happening on opposite ends of the county next week. On Monday, the folks from Fusco's Via Roma, 4815 S. Main St. in Acworth, host a wine tasting from 7 to 9 p.m. Sample 18 vintages in a take-home glass while nibbling on antipasto, crostinis and cheeses.
