Boston Marathon bombings
During the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013, two pressure cooker bombs exploded killing three people and injuring hundreds. A few days later, suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was killed in a police shootout and his brother, Tamerlan, was captured.
