Fish: Channel catfish, largemouth, black, spotted and white bass, crappie, bream
Size: 25,900-acre reservoir on the Chattahoochee River at the Georgia-Alabama border. Dozens of creeks; more than 40 square miles of lake
Access: Public fishing piers located at Hardley Creek Park, Rocky Point Park, and McGee Bridge Park, with access for persons with disabilities. Good crappie action usually found by trolling jigs in the upper portions of Beech, Whitewater, Wehadkee and Stroud creeks; Exceptional white bass fishing can be found during the spring in the upper reaches of the Chattahoochee River arm at Franklin. Rocky Point and McGee Bridge piers have PVC fish shelters; 10 large fish attractors are distributed over lake below Highland Marina and in Yellow Jacket Creek.
