Black Rock gets its name from the dark cliff faces, boulders and outcroppings scattered throughout the park. Numerous scenic overlooks provide spectacular 80-mile vistas of the Southern Appalachians -- and its hiking trails afford close-up views of wildflowers, streams and lush forests. Degree of Difficulty: Three trails: Ada-Hi Falls Nature Trail (moderate); Tennessee Rock Trail (moderate); James E.
