Quick Guide to mountain biking

Chicopee Trail
Review by Pam Rubenstein
A trail for the intermediate rider, with lots of whoop-te-doos, zig-zags, switchbacks and other obstacles.
Fees: $1. The trail is maintained by the Gainesville SORBA chapter.
Hours of operation: Open dawn-to-dusk, but call the number below before heading out to make sure the trail is open.
How to get there: Take I-85 North to I-985, to Oakwood exit (No. 16). Take a left off the exit ramp. Turn right at the stoplight onto Frontage Road. Follow signs to Elachee Nature Center. There is a bike parking lot past the golf course.
