Kendrick Lamar recently made a splash with his major label debut. Dr. Dre's projege made a splash for his major record label debut. "Good Kid, m.A.A.d City" debuted at #2 on the Billboard's Top 200. The rapper is from Compton, and uses his experiences to take his listeners on a cohesive journey with him- by story telling through songs- and intertwining skits about his upbringing. Kendrick is singed with Interscope Records, Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath.
