Oscar Statues Arrive on Red Carpet
Some familiar faces are driven up Hollywood Boulevard. They're the giant Oscar statues ready to line the red carpet of Tinseltown's most famous ceremony, now just days away. Each golden statue is spray-painted by hand and measures seven and a half feet or 2.3 meters. But for now the Oscars will have to sit safely in plastic until Sunday, February 24th, when they will welcome guests to the 85th annual Academy Awards.
