Beekeeper removes 60,000 bees from cabin
“CBS This Morning” reports a cabin in Utah had a few extra visitors — 60,000 honey bees. Utah beekeeper Vic Bachman was called in to remove the bees last month. The bees had been there since 1996. The cabin owners, the Bertagnolli family, had chosen never to remove the bees before because they had never bothered anybody. However, after recently moving into the cabin with their young son, the family wanted to remove them as a precaution. Bachman said it was the largest beehive he’d seen.
