Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Finally Gets Hall of Fame Statue!
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar may hold the NBA scoring record with 38,387 points, but he may have just scored his biggest honor yet! The six-time NBA champ has finally received a statue in the famed Star Plaza at the Staples Center.
Kareem joins the likes of Wayne Gretzky and fellow former Laker Earvin "Magic" Johnson as one of the few sports superstars to be immortalized in bronze. The Hall of Famer's statue stands almost 16 feet tall, 1,500 lbs and replicates his famous sky hook shot.
