OK, George Jones fans, I promised you some good news on Monday and here it is.

Our friends at the Fox Theatre were so taken with the response to last week’s ticket giveaway that they’ve provided me with another pair – second row seats! – to randomly assign to a fan today.

So, if you've already emailed me to participate in last week’s contest, your name is on the list so please don’t send a new email.

If you haven’t yet emailed me at mruggieri@ajc.com to briefly tell me why you’d love to see the Possum at his farewell show at the Fox on Friday, do so by 5 p.m. today with “George” in the subject line. I will randomly choose a winner this evening.
