Jason Aldean and wife Jessica Ussery have separated, according to Us Weekly.

 The magazine’s website quotes a source who says the Macon-born country star – who lives in Nashville – parted with his wife of 11 years in January.

 A rep confirmed that the couple was having problems, but said otherwise, “There is nothing more to share at this time. It's a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way."

 Aldean, who became the first music act to play storied Sanford Stadium in Athens a few weeks ago, was caught on camera last fall canoodling in a bar with a former “American Idol” contestant.

A couple of months after the marital misstep, Aldean appeared with Ussery on “CBS This Morning” and admitted that their marriage had hit some rough patches, but said, “Any couple that’s been married for 30, 40, 50 years” faces challenges.

Aldean and Ussery, a couple since high school, have two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl.
