Kelly Rowland is returning to Atlanta Labor Day weekend to headline the Atlanta Black Gay Pride event, “Labor Day Rock 2013.”
Rowland, an Atlanta native and original member of Destiny’s Child who just released her fourth solo album in June, will perform Aug. 31 at 595 North Event Center (the event runs from 10 p.m.-3 a.m.).
Rowland will also make her debut on “The X-Factor” this fall as a judge, joining Paulina Rubio, Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell on the panel.
Other acts participating in the festivities are Joseline Hernandez of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” who will host from 10 p.m.-4 a.m. Aug. 30 at Museum Bar and singer K. Michelle, who will perform at Opera Nightclub on Sept. 1. Doors open at 10 p.m.
