Rod Stewart show moved to October By Melissa Ruggieri
Unless you were already holding tickets and received notification from Ticketmaster or happen to check RodStewart.com on a regular basis, you might have missed the announcement that Stewart’s spring tour with Steve Winwood has been moved to October.
According to Stewart’s website, the April 28 date at Philips Arena will now take place Oct. 19. Previously purchased tickets will be honored, or refunds are available through Feb. 22.
The reason given for the change was so that Stewart could finish production on his first original rock studio album in 20 years. But Stewart told Billboard in October that the album “was all done...it’s all finished, mixed, everything.”
In any case, don’t show up at Philips on April 28 expecting to hear the classic rock duo at work.
