Friday Riffs: Which Atlanta venues do you love and love to hate? By Melissa Ruggieri
So now that the first round of concerts has been announced at Chastain
With a new round of spring and summer shows on the horizon - I'll have a full roundup coming in the next couple of weeks -- this seems like a good time to ask: Which venues in Atlanta do you love and which do you love to hate?
Me, I'm partial to any place with air conditioning, particularly The Tabernacle, which has fantastic sight lines and a funky-cool vibe. Besides, any venue with a bed in one of its cozy hangout rooms gets my vote. As for least favorite, any outdoor venue is on my list, particularly in July when the humid air hangs over concertgoers like a sticky drape.
