Macklemore and Ryan Lewis won’t be at a “Thrift Shop” when they come to town next month. But they will be at a mall.

The Grammy-winning pop-rap duo will perform a free concert in the northeast parking lot of Perimeter Mall (off Perimeter Center West and Ashford-Dunwoody Road) at 8:30 p.m. May 31 to celebrate the grand opening of Microsoft Perimeter Mall.

The company has been using the music of its Seattle-based neighbors in campaigns for more than a year and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have frequently performed at events to support Microsoft.

Gates for the May 31 concert will open at 6:30 p.m. While entry is free, attendees do need a ticket, which they can procure by attending the opening of the store at 10:30 a.m. that day. Fans are encouraged to line up early.
