"Anchorman 2" has been filming in Atlanta for weeks now. On Saturday night members of the crew including cast members Paul Rudd and David Koechner headed out to Antico, Atlanta's go-to palace of pizza for visiting celebrities (and pretty much everyone else).
Incidentally, Conan O'Brien headed over to Antico one evening when his show was filming at the Tabernacle. It happened to be the very same night that Rudd visited his show. Here is a cute photo of Coco at Antico. Maybe he and Rudd, who is sporting a luxuriant mustache and 70s hairdo these days for his character, compared notes on where to dine in the ATL.
We're told owner Giovanni Di Palma spotted the guys hanging out in the parking lot, waiting to get in. There's often a line at Antico.
So Gio invited them to his adjacent new place, Gio's Chicken Amalfitano, and the group enjoyed a hybridized feast cobbled together from both restaurants' menus. We're told they plowed through San Gennaro and Margherita pizzas along with Sorrento Lemon Chicken and then cannolis for dessert.
