Reese Witherspoon, Robin Williams filming updates

Robin Williams
Christmas in April!

By Jennifer Brett

Reese Witherspoon's movie "The Good Lie" and Robin Williams' flick "A Friggin' Christmas Miracle" both are filming in Atlanta today.

"The Good Lie" is filming downtown, on Marietta Street at Howell Mill Road, according to Kraig Torres, proprietor of Hop City, which is located right in that area. It's a superb place to pick up brew and vino, we can report with authority.

The movie also has filmed at Peachtree Baptist Church and at Sugarloaf Mills Mall.

Robin Williams is here filming his ensemble comedy with Lauren Graham, Joel McHale, Oliver Platt, Ryan Lee and Candice Bergen. (Wow that's some cast!) It's been filming in the Smokerise subdivision in Stone Mountain at a couple of homes, one off Gunstock Drive and one off Old Rosser Road, we're told by a well-placed source. The crew has been parking at Eastminister Presbyterian on Hugh Howell Road.

Williams, who delighted the crowd at Laughing Skull Lounge when he showed up as a surprise performer last Sunday, tweeted this nice photo of his fellow cast members. Looks like they are having fun.
