"Anchorman 2" is close to winding down but cast members including Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Dave Koechner and James Marsden made time for one more outing on Tuesday night.

They're shown here at Gio's Chicken Amalfitano, the poultry palace next to Giovanni Di Palma's insanely popuular pizza joint, Antico. As the photos indicate Gio and the guys have gotten pretty tight.

Speaking of food the AJC's Spring Dining Guide comes out Friday. Should Antico and Gio's be on the list? Join the conversation here.

The highly anticipated sequel is set in San Diego but has been filming for months in Atlanta. Locations to look for when the project hits the screens later this year will include the Silver Skillet and Olympic Flame restaurants, the Georgia State Archives building, private homes in Inman Park and Buckhead and the streets of Midtown.

The movie also set up a skating rink at Peachtree Center downtown for an outdoor ice skating rink scene.

(Update on that - we were told on Tuesday that Will Ferrell consulted with a local ice skating pro for tips. He did have ice skating stunt doubles doing the actual ice work but it seems he wanted to make things as authentic as possible.)

We're also told the project was filming at Manuel's, which is ground zero in Atlanta for journalists and other miscreants, on Tuesday. The Manuel's Facebook page just said something was filming but didn't confirm. We'll nail that down soon as we can.
