Anchorman 2
Anchorman 2 is filming in Atlanta

By Jennifer Brett

"Anchorman 2" is just about done filming in Atlanta, it looks like.

UPDATE: I'm told the project is filming at Manuel's Tuesday afternoon. I'll try to get down there and check it out!

UPDATE II: Photos of the AM2 crew seen in Atlanta Tuesday night!

A casting call for extras suggests that the Will Ferrell comedy is close to being just about through. "Last call," it starts.

Here are the specs:

"We are seeking Males and Females of ALL ages (18 - 90+) and all ethnicities. Looking for family types - Grandparents, Parents, Aunts and Uncles, Teens (18 and Older). When: Thursday, April 25th Types: All types, 18 and Older (Must be 18) Qualifications: Must be able to style hair in 70's manner; Males should have at least medium length hair (70's style)."

If you're interested:

"email 3 pictures (at least one with your current hair), your height, weight, age, and phone number ASAP to UntitledFilm2ATL@gmail.com."

The sequel starring Ferrell as the legendary Ron Burgundy, with Paul Rudd, James Marsden, Kristen Wiig, Christina Applegate, Harrison Ford and reported cameos by Nicole Kidman and Will Smith, has been filming for months. Although it is set in San Diego, local filming locations have included the Silver Skillet and Olympic Flame restaurants, private homes in Inman Park and Buckhead, Phoenix Park near Turner Field, the Georgia State Archives building and Peachtree Center, where the project erected a huge outdoor ice-skating rink.

Security's been super tight and details have been kept under wraps. Rudd visited Conan O'Brien's talk show when it taped at Tabernacle a few weeks ago and revealed exactly zero details about the plot. We'll just have to wait until the movie comes out.

Until then, stay classy Atlanta!
