Tyler Perry meets the neighbors

Tyler Perry Meets the Neighbors. Sounds like a Tyler Perry television show, huh? Only this actually happened.

Atlanta's hardest working man in show business popped by the Atlanta Symphony Associates' Decorators Show House on Tuesday afternoon. The 18,000-square-foot estate, decorated some of the Southeast’s most talented designers, will be on through May 12, with proceeds supporting the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

Perry lives just up the road a ways, in a 30,000-square-foot French provincial mansion perched atop a 17-acre tract off Paces Ferry along the Chattahoochee River. (We were there for a private party not long ago! Details here!)

Anyway Perry had been noticing all the construction and landscaping and such going on at the show house home in recent weeks, so he stopped by to check it out.

He's shown here with Sylvia Davidson, president of Atlanta Symphony Associates, on the left, and Natalie Miller, the 2013 Show House Chair. They had a great time touring the house. Since Perry is always juggling multiple projects, maybe he'll film there in the future!
