With swimsuit season approaching, Honey Boo Boo matriarch June Shannon has trimmed down quite a bit.

The mother of Georgia's most famous 7-year-old tells TMZ that her busy recording schedule is to credit for her drop from 365 to 263 pounds.

"I haven't done any surgeries, no diet pills, never went to the gym," Shannon told TMZ. "With the show I've been more active. They have me running around and going different places. I guess it's paying off." 

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," the TLC smash hit that spun off of "Toddlers and Tiaras" and follows beauty queen Alana Thompson and her family around their small town of McIntyre, hasn't exactly been a paragon of health tips. One episode featured Shannon and Alana fixing the family's favorite dish for dinner. "Sketti" is a concoction featuring butter, ketchup and pasta. Yum! In another episode the whole clan dines out at a barbecue joint. Honey Boo Boo is dismayed to learn that side dishes didn't feature more meat. 

The show's first season did chronicle some attempts at weight loss, though. In one episode the ladies of the house all took turns stepping on the scale and then pledged to whittle the numbers down. That was followed by a trip to an auction house where June bought a bunch of junk food. Ah well.
