Dear readers: We've had to switch blog tools and a number of glitches have appeared. I've noticed some of you have commented that I cannot spell (which is true, by the way) due to typos showing up in blogs. That's because there's no "draft" status or spellcheck function. I'm sure someone's working on that.

There also have been problems regarding commenting. We've been asked to post this note regarding that issue:

We’ve discovered a problem with user logins that really concerns us. We are working urgently to fix it.

Users are reporting that when they are signed in to ajc.com (or accessatlanta.com) and close their browser, they are automatically signed out. Some users have also been logged out when going to another site and coming back to ajc.com.

This problem is really being felt by the folks who comment on our blogs who are finding themselves having to sign in too often. This is not our intent at all, and we will be working with our digital team and our vendor for the user registration system to fix it as quickly as we can. We’ll keep you updated, but rest assured we are working on it.

Our technical teams and their managers are giving this the highest attention and we will let you know when this has been fixed and will update you as needed until then.
