The movie "Kill The Messenger" has begun filming in metro Atlanta. Monday night it was filming in east Cobb. They moved downtown on Tuesday, filmed in Decatur on Wednesday and they're at the Georgia state Capitol building today (Thursday).

Here's the plot as per imdb: "A reporter becomes the target of a vicious smear campaign that drives him to the point of suicide after he exposes the CIA's role in arming Contra rebels in Nicaragua and importing cocaine into California. Based on the true story of journalist Gary Webb."

The movie stars Jeremy Renner as Webb along with Barry Pepper and Rosemarie DeWitt.

DeWitt has filmed in Atlanta before. She had a role in the terrible sci-fi comedy "The Watch" and one in the cute fantasy charmer "The Odd Life of Timothy Green." Her husband Ron Livingston, who also had a role in "Odd Life," is seen this week in the retro horror film "The Conjuring."
