Honey Boo Boo family's new health kick? By Jennifer Brett
Honey Boo Boo and family, sometimes in the news for questionable dietary choices such as their favorite "sketti" dish or the 7-year-old's interest in ordering meat with a side of meat at a barbeque restaurant, seem to be embracing healthy new choices.
First, "Mama" June Shannon revealed she had dropped 100 pounds . Not due to any special diet or exercise regimen, but because of all the activity the TLC reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" entails.
Now comes word that "Sugar Bear" Mike Thompson is swearing off fried foods. However as TMZ reports this new diet plan follows a pancreatitis diagnosis.
The reality show that spun off from TLC's ''Toddlers and Tiaras" is an international ratings bonanza, so production folks must surely be eager for more material to stock future episodes. Perhaps a Honey Boo Boo diet special could be in the works?
