Kim Kardashian to appear at Tyler Perry screening? By Jennifer Brett
Tyler Perry plans a red-carpet screening for his new movie, "Tyler Perry's Temptation," at 5 p.m. Saturday at the AMC Parkway Pointe theater in Cobb County.
Red carpet celebs scheduled to appear include Perry, the film's writer/director, and cast members Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Lance Gross, Robbie Jones, Renee Taylor and Ella Joyce .
Kim Kardashian , who was cast in a minor yet headline-grabbing role , also is among the personalities scheduled to appear. But a number of recent reports indicate that the mother-to-be has been ordered by doctors to rest. Kardashian is no stranger to Atlanta, having spent time here filming guest appearances for the Lifetime show "Drop Dead Diva" in addition to the "Temptation" role. She and fellow reality star personality NeNe Leakes have been spotted at places like Twist and STK .
So we'll see if her health permits her to come back this time.
The red carpet arrivals are scheduled to arrive beginning at 5:30 p.m. and an invite-only screening of the movie is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Fans will be able to view the red carpet festivities, and we're told "select fans will be chosen to attend the special screening."
The movie is billed thusly: "An explosive romance about forbidden desires, TYLER PERRY'S TEMPTATION tells the provocative story of Judith, an ambitious married woman whose temptation by a handsome billionaire leads to betrayal, recklessness and forever alters the course of her life."
It opens in theaters March 29.
