Will Ferrell and Jake Gyllenhaal, each in Atlanta working on separate movie projects, were both spotted over the weekend.
Ferrell, who's here reprising his famous role as Ron Burgundy in "Anchorman 2," was at Mi Cocina in Midtown on Saturday night while Gyllenhaal, who's here for a movie called "Prisoners," checked out Cakes and Ale in Decatur.
We also keep hearing reports that the guys are both fitness buffs. Gyllenhaal's been spotted a number of times now at Flywheel, and Ferrell's been seen working out at a local gym. Details here.
"Anchorman 2," also starring Paul Rudd, Steve Carrell, Christina Applegate, Harrison Ford and Kristen Wiig, has filmed at the Silver Skillet and the Olympic Flame restaurants, a home in Inman Park and a $15 million mansion in Buckhead.
"Prisoners" has filmed quite a bit OTP, in Tucker, Social Circle, Conyers and Monroe, and films this week at the Atlanta Medical Center's South Campus at 1170 Cleveland Ave. See this link for more details including road closures and other impacts on traffic.
