Davis is no stranger to Atlanta. She joined Octavia Spencer, who earned an Academy Award for her role in "The Help," for that movie's red-carpet premiere in Atlanta in August 2011. We were there - here's a link to the story about that fun night!
"The Help" author Kathryn Stockett lives in Atlanta; wonder if they will connect while Davis is in town this time?
In "Prisoners," Davis and Howard and Jackman and Bello star as couples whose children have been abducted. Gyllenhaal plays the police detective working the case. It has been filming mostly OTP, in Tucker, Conyers, Social Circle and Monroe, and has also filmed at the Atlanta Medical Center's facility in East Point. The movie wraps in a few weeks.
