Stay classy, Midtown

Ron Burgundy keeps it classy in the ATL.

By Jennifer Brett

Will Ferrell, in Atlanta filming "Anchorman 2," strutted his Ron Burgundy self down the streets of Midtown this week.

The comedy, also starring Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Kristen Wiig, Christina Applegate, Harrison Ford and Vince Vaughn, has shot in a number of Atlanta locations. Even though it's set in San Diego. Whatever. We're classy too.

Prior to this week, "Anchorman 2" had filmed at a number of Atlanta locations including the Silver Skillet and Olympic Flame restaurants and private homes in Inman Park and Buckhead. Last week the project filmed a huge ice-skating scene downtown, at Peachtree Center. This week it was Piedmont Park and, as you can see here, Midtown.

In their downtime cast members have been spotted at South City Kitchen, The Optimist, Cypress Street Pint and Plate and Two Urban Licks. Also, Ferrell keeps hitting the gym, to keep his mustache buff we're assuming.
